The pulse of Israel
beats like no other place. Archeological relics and
remains from thousands of years of struggle and triumph are tangibly felt at
every corner. You will find different walks of life on Kibbutzim and
Moshavim, as well as in the most metropolitan of cities like Tel Aviv.
Complex dynamics of modern Israel, at the center of the world, creates
challenges in every sector of society today. Fascinating seminars,
meaningful internships, engaging classes and exhilarating tiyulim will
offer opportunities to make a personal connection to the land and to the
people. Israel's magic will draw you in, making an impression on you, while
encouraging you to create your own lasting imprint for the future.
Shabbatonim
gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect with different types of
communities, and people all over Israel. All of our community-based
Shabbatot were student organized and planned. It provided us with a
wonderful vehicle to develop our organizational and leadership
skills.

The
community internships were what created a complete and holistic
experience. We all gained so much from interacting with the people,
experiencing the land, and learning the Torah of Israel. The
internships served as an opportunity to give back and to put all that
we learned into practice through our chesed, each student connected
to a piece of Israeli society in her own unique
way.

Seminars are great because you have a chance to explore the land, the State,
and its society. Unlike the action-packed Tiyulim that focus on the "big
picture" of various regions in Israel, weekly seminars are specialized in
areas such as Israel advocacy, Israeli-Arab conflict, Israel post-Disengagement,
and Social Welfare. You have a chance to delve deeply in and become well
versed in a subject on Israeli culture and Jewish life. It is a great experience
to learn about Israel beyond the
books.
